I don't usually sell on ebay, I just recently had 4 items to sell. I put them on auction and they all sold, but annoyingly the buyers of three of them asked to cancel immediately. So I wanted to relist them, and tried, but it kept saying I couldn't relist them as they were set for automatic relist. About a week passed and they still hadn't automatically relisted, so today I fiddled around with it, not knowing what I was doing, until eventually it relisted them (although charged me 35p per item, I thought it was meant to be free?)
If they do sell, how can I make sure ebay won't automatically relist them in the future as I will no longer have them to sell?

Using Seller Hub and bulk edit, you can select or de-select auto relist. It is the first choice in the 'edit' menu.
For a current listing click on Revise Your Item, top left of listing, and untick the auto relist option near the bottom, above submit. But that may depend on how you originally listed it.
If it does relist you can end it early via the dropdown menu next to the item on your selling page.
For future listings you can cancel the relist option during the listing process before you submit. It's under pricing options on the far right.

I don't see "seller hub" or "bulk edit" anywhere, where do I find those?

If you normally use My eBay there's a link to switch top right of your selling overview page.

A link top right to switch to the Seller Hub.
Then on your listing form when you are in an Auction format, scroll down to the PRICING SECTION.
There far right click on ' See pricing options ' from the drop down menu there untick the slider beside... Auto relist.
