How do I stop automatic relisting?

I don't usually sell on ebay, I just recently had 4 items to sell.  I put them on auction and they all sold, but annoyingly the buyers of three of them asked to cancel immediately.  So I wanted to relist them, and tried, but it kept saying I couldn't relist them as they were set for automatic relist.  About a week passed and they still hadn't automatically relisted, so today I fiddled around with it, not knowing what I was doing, until eventually it relisted them (although charged me 35p per item, I thought it was meant to be free?)

If they do sell, how can I make sure ebay won't automatically relist them in the future as I will no longer have them to sell?

No, I mean, my 4 items sold (although one is still awaiting payment, I don't think the buyer is going to pay.)  There is nothing under active listings, so there is nothing to edit.  I'm just worried that the items will get relisted automatically at some point (because ebay said they would) so I don't know how to find them and turn off the auto relist.

Aah,   if it has been sold,  then you cannot adjust that auto relist on it at this present time.

This could have been an easier quicker answer for you if you included this vital piece of information !

I'm sure you know the procedure after 4 complete days of non payment,  you cancel the order citing Buyer Has not Paid.

Then,  if you are notified by eBay the item has been relisted just end it, here:

Re: How do I stop automatic relisting?

No, I eventually found a way to relist it manually, with a slightly different description.  So what I'm saying is, does ebay think it's a different item, and is it going to auto relist it (the original listing with original description) anyway.  Which I of course don't want it to do because they are sold already.  Because it said I could not relist the items as they were set to auto relist.  I didn't want to wait so I relisted them manually with a slightly different description.  And now they've sold I don't want them auto-relisted with the original description.

Re: How do I stop automatic relisting?

Do you actually know what auto relist is?

I'm pretty sure that there is a basic misunderstanding here of what is happening.

I'm very politely bowing out here.
