I don't usually sell on ebay, I just recently had 4 items to sell. I put them on auction and they all sold, but annoyingly the buyers of three of them asked to cancel immediately. So I wanted to relist them, and tried, but it kept saying I couldn't relist them as they were set for automatic relist. About a week passed and they still hadn't automatically relisted, so today I fiddled around with it, not knowing what I was doing, until eventually it relisted them (although charged me 35p per item, I thought it was meant to be free?)
If they do sell, how can I make sure ebay won't automatically relist them in the future as I will no longer have them to sell?

Using Seller Hub and bulk edit, you can select or de-select auto relist. It is the first choice in the 'edit' menu.
For a current listing click on Revise Your Item, top left of listing, and untick the auto relist option near the bottom, above submit. But that may depend on how you originally listed it.
If it does relist you can end it early via the dropdown menu next to the item on your selling page.
For future listings you can cancel the relist option during the listing process before you submit. It's under pricing options on the far right.

I don't see "seller hub" or "bulk edit" anywhere, where do I find those?

If you normally use My eBay there's a link to switch top right of your selling overview page.

A link to switch to what?

A link top right to switch to the Seller Hub.
Then on your listing form when you are in an Auction format, scroll down to the PRICING SECTION.
There far right click on ' See pricing options ' from the drop down menu there untick the slider beside... Auto relist.

There is nothing top right called seller hub?

Talk about head hitting brick wall...... 😉

do you mean i need to create a new listing to find this? can someone screenshot what I am supposed to be looking at?

What device are you using and which page/screen are you currently looking at?

To add or remove automatic relisting for auctions you need to use desktop (not the app).

Sorry just seen you 've come back with this, and may have found the Seller hub already?
I'm using a laptop with Chrome, no idea where this is on the app, that's too limited in its options for me, so I don't use it.
So, on a laptop / PC and use Chrome, when you first log in, so you have your landing page, your Overview, there, go far right and you will see the link.... ' Opt out of Seller Hub'
Far right it looks like this......

I'm on a laptop too, on internet explorer, not the app. And in my overview there is still nothing called seller hub. If ebay is planning to automatically relist these items, would they be found somehwere like "scheduled," for instance? because there is nothing under there either.

Seller Hub is just a description, it's not actual link!
This is the main page where you access pretty much everything from.
Click on "My Ebay" and the top right of the page and then click on "Selling".
This will bring you to the Seller Hub.
This link should also work.

That's strange, that link takes me to a page that isn't accessible through my usual ebay page. When I'm on ebay and click selling, it doesn't take me to that. There is still nothing saying edit, bulk edit or auto relist though.

Which device or browser are you using ?
If the app or mobile browser switch to a laptop / PC and try Chrome then follow the advice above.

I am on a laptop and I have tried chrome.

From the link I provided you earlier.
Click on Listings/active
Choose the listings that are auto relisting.
Then click on
Edit/edit selected
Select all the listings, then click on Bulk edit/auto relist
From here, click the appropriate option and save.
Then submit.
That will make the changes for you. It may take a little time to actually kick in, but that should be it.

There is nothing under active listings. Yet when I previously tried to relist manually, it said I can't because I had selected auto relisting.

Okay, so you mentioned that you only had 4 listings so it won't be that time consuming to edit each one.
Go back into a listing and scroll down to the Pricing section:
Then click on that 'See pricing options' link that's top right and you'll see this, make sure that the auto relisting featured is turned off (it should be grey, not blue):
Then go back to the bottom of your listing and either list it or save it for later, whatever you prefer.
