That can’t be right
there’s exemptions
they’re still there on the help pages
I doubt they mean items eligible for custom delivery will be switched to sd

Just as I thought ebay were nearly doing as many u-turns as the current Gov, I had a look at the small print and it's never really what it seems in the headlines, just some PR spin.

I skim read the email and come here to understand the changes, there is no need for Ebay to be so complicated though.
I don't want to use their new delivery system and that doesn't seem to have changed.

No need for a new spreadsheet calculation. I just listed something at £8. BPF £1.04. I calculated 66p.

I don't think thats correct, about the exemptions I mean

Annoyingly, none of my listings have updated to the new BPF values. A £4 item is still showing as £4.88 with BPF included. Nearly all my items are under £10 so I would really benefit from this change.

Anyone?
This should work, although as before may be slightly out due to roundings:
=IF(A1<=20,ROUND((A1-0.10)/1.07,2),IF(A1<=300,ROUND((((A1-21.40)-0.10)/1.04)+20,2),IF(A1<=4000,ROUND((((A1-312.60)-0.10)/1.02)+300,2),ROUND((A1-86.60)-0.10,2))))

The new fee structure updated overnight so anyone who checked their prices yesterday might wish to check them again
Sadly, perhaps unsurpisingingly, the 'new' prices are incorrect as it seems that only the new fee of 10p has been applied - the variable element is still 4% not 7%

I used to work for a company and it was 4 days on and 4 days off (so 8 day week) and you got paid every 7 days...so in theory at 7 days (or 😎 you lose a week pay....the company said don't worry we have worked out that over the year you actually get more money....then someone worked out you were actually working 6 hours for nothing so when it came to the final 6 hours he walked out as he wasn't working for free.....obviously he got the sack
I haven't heard of anything completely daft.....till yesterday. Why can't they just keep things simple, when you complicate things thats already complicated it gets lost
Ebay saw something that other platforms have (but better) and dumped it in without thinking SD as well, perhaps next time they can float ideas to members try it out and get feedback on how to improve, not everyone will like, not everyone is open to change but at least you get an idea.....it can't look good for Ebay or their trust

Mine still hasn’t updated - fees are still showing the same as before.

Mine have updated (well, the ones I checked anyway) in fact the displayed prices were slightly under the actual calculation.

Yes but i would still like to continue using Yodel ,the only EVRI near me is Tesco express and they just moan and they are such a poor delivery company ,Royal Mail is on Option but my costs will go up, hmm guess is goodbye ebay untill they allow us to post with who we want

Use my workaround. Follow it exactly. https://community.ebay.co.uk/t5/Seller-Central/how-do-you-list-anything-bigger-than-61cm/m-p/7882486...

I wish they would remove Evri from the options, their service is just abysmal! It's cheap for a reason and we all know the reason! It take an average of a week to get my stuff delivered and that simply isn't good enough. We should at least have the option to CHOOSE which service we want to use i.e. RM and be able to pay the little extra for it!
18-07-2025 7:46 PM
You can choose to only use RM
There is an option when you are listing to 'choose courier', just click that and deselect Evri

Apologies, just realised that this formula isn't quite right. As we are working back from the price including the BPF then in order to be accurate (well as close as we can be anyway) the 'logical_test' values (A1<=?) need to include the BPF, so £21.50 not £20.00, etc.
This, therefore, is the correct formula:
=IF(A1<=21.50,ROUND((A1-0.10)/1.07,2),IF(A1<=312.70,ROUND((((A1-21.40)-0.10)/1.04)+20,2),IF(A1<=4086.70,ROUND((((A1-312.60)-0.10)/1.02)+300,2),ROUND((A1-86.60)-0.10,2))))
