Hello,
I consistently use the same parcel shop for all my shipments with Royal Mail and Evri. Generally, everything has gone smoothly, but there is currently a slight issue with the items being collected on Evri's end.
My local post office is working to resolve the matter, but I have a buyer who I dropped a parcel off for yesterday requesting that I retrieve it and send it via Royal Mail. I don't believe I can do that since the parcel has already been scanned into the system.
Should I continue to ask for their patience, or should I request that my local post office return the item to me?
Thank you for your time.

They will have to be patient.
It looks like you offer "free" delivery; i.e. you paid for the "Simple" Delivery label. Now that the label has been scanned that payment is non-refundable. Also, as there has been an acceptance scan you risk automatically losing an INR case should the buyer open one.

Leave it. You may have missed yesterdays collection so it might go today.
Keep an eye on the tracking. Sounds like you have an impatient buyer.

I appreciate your reply.
it gets quite stressful when they keep getting on at you. Hopefully it resolves itself soon. ✨

If it was simple delivery then you also get some protection from issues with late deliveries
