just took a 48 hour tracked to the post office , Girl scanned the packet says No tracking for this package ??? so I left it and now looked at tracking says not posted, I took another printed label as I thought it might be faulty // THIS says can not track so were do,s that leave me

Yep, others are having the same issue today, many reports of this coming through, you are not alone.
Seems for the time being, the answer is to either buy your own postage label through Royal Mail / Post Office, or try again later for an SD label.

Hello, Same thing happened to me this morning. Printed Tracked 48 label on Ebay, took to the post office and told is NOT a viable label and so I brought it home. Went into labels on my ebay and cancelled the label itself. Picked the tab "Label not recognised in store" so Royal Mail will give me a refund on it. Then I took label off the package and hand-wrote the buyers' name and address on it and my return address on the back. I payed over the counter at the Post office for Tracked 48 ( cost an extra 10p) and it is now on it's way fully tracked. The lady behind the counter told me it's not just my prepaid label but many others via Ebay and other online selling platforms with tracked 48 haven't worked this morning. Then I uploaded the new tracking number in my selling so the customer can track it's journey. I hope this is helpful. Kindest regards Ronnie 🙂

It's not just SD. My click and Drop YB and TQ tracking was also not accepted this morning.

hi I had 1 Tracked48 package to send out, first PO said it's not recognising it, went to the mobile PO unit and they tried and it didnt work either but without telling me anything just handed over a proof of postage. The buyer had paid for the label not me. I just hope it arrives and that the buyer leaves me feedback otherwise how ie when do I get the money in my account I wonder.

If tracking doesn't show delivery your payout will be held for a minimum of 14 days.

hi thanks that's what I thought, oh well, will have to wait and see. The tracking won't show because it didn't work not recognised or whatever terminology apparently came up. Pity we are not told about what the procedure is when this happens, will know though in future to bring package back and try again on another day, or to try another label - not that Simple it seems after all!!!

Both the parcels l left with the post office, didn't initially track but I've just checked now and they are showing as being received at the North West Superhub with an estimated delivery date of 05/08.

Same Happened to me .... When i Googled it , The New "AP" numbers are for Royal Mail Tracked 48 , and they haven't updated all there systems yet .

me too, the RM 48 tracked labels with YA.......GB were not recognised by post office, contacted ebay for the concern but the line had been cut off when i was waiting for them to check and report, not called me back since.

Apparently its a nationwide issue with the new YA ...GB labels. Post Office systems have not updated to the new letters!!!!!! Its going to cost them millions of pounds. Its not just an ebay issue. I have loads of parcels to send, I'll try again tomorrow as they need to leave immediately. If the issue isnt resolved I will have to cancel them all and re-post with evri...... This is still the Horizon system which caused people to commit suicide, go to prison and be bankrupted!
I just hope my parcels can be delivered on time as they are actually time sensitive, and we receive no complaints as sellers, as this is not our fault
