EBay’s new simple postage not so simple and just another control move by eBay

This new simple postage process by eBay is yet another control measure by them

the ‘optional’ part is temporary and eventually all private sellers will have to use this

which Means they own you! I don’t like everi or yodel and I only like Royal Mail to collect 

and the sizes have been chosen by eBay as a default so a small item is now cabin sized even- they give free listing and zero fees in one hand and then control you with this postage process

They 'generously' gave us the option to deselect one carrier and then stabbed us in the back by charging buyers more for the one we accept. 

After reducing my prices to compensate for ebay hi-jacking my listings to force their bogus BPF onto them, they are about to do it again when they force simple delivery on my listings, increasing the postage price and overall total the buyer will pay, making buyers less likely to purchase something.

They can’t force anyone to do anything

either we will find workarounds

or maybe they will be more generous than “they sound” with custom postage and get act together when speaking to people and not saying one thing one day and it getting contradicted the next

or maybe they will change their policies and stop extortion and financial penalties ..eg if you don’t chose bOTH couriers you will be charged extra

or sellers will decide and say no thank you, off to other pastures

Same for me - all the above

we keep getting beaten with new rules that change the goalposts so much it makes me feel like we’re being laughed at by them - and not respected - who comes up with these changes? 
and also the new feedback rules - so even bad buyers will get positive feedback automatically
