BPF and SD (STUPID DELIVERY) …. TIME FOR eBAY TO RETHINK

Hello fellow eBayers … If you read the Simple sorry Stupid Delivery breakdown released by eBay management a few days ago and as recent as today speak to their Customer Services you get conflicting statements.

eBay have a total disregard for people using their platform. I see in the press, they have lost market  share to Vinted etc. Trying to copy these other platforms will only lose them more turnover and increase the obvious bad feeling they have caused to those that have supported them in the past.

They also appear to have very little regard for the likes of the local Post Office who have been the main source of dispatch of items since the start of eBay. eBay will have you think they are giving extra business to our Post Offices but they are not.

eBays label prices are inflated to give them more profit.  Pure greed.

Things will change for the worse  … less sellers due to BPF and SD and less buyers due to the additional cost making the selling price too high.

eBay turn the clock back to the time we had sellers fees only, listing promotions / incentives fortnightly, able to do our own posting preferences and payment of OUR MONIES fortnightly and selling and buying on eBay was enjoyable.

Surely common sense … and best of all regain people’s respect

eBay reminds me of when you have a favourite shop, which you've been visiting regularly for years - the stock is good quality, the staff are friendly & knowledgeable, the layout is comfortingly familiar etc...

Then, out of the blue, it all starts to go downhill... every time you go back, something else has been moved around, or discontinued. New layout, pared-down stock, 'trendy' staff, different atmosphere... In the end, it's just not the same anymore, so, rather sadly, you give up & go somewhere else...

It would be great if the eBay clock could go back... unfortunately, they seem to have overwound it... 🕰
