Description formatting issues when revising advert on phone

Is anyone else experiencing problems with a nicely structured advert description becoming scrambled with formatting code added when you revise an advert on a mobile phone?

I usually create my adverts on ebay.co.uk then save for later, then add my photos using the ebay app on my phone.  When when I go back to the advert the nicely formatted description has all been compressed together practically in one paragraph making it difficult to read.

Its obviously a recent change which is causing formatting issues between ebay.co.uk and the ebay app.

I have raised a case with ebay tech team but they seem to think I'm stupid and don't know what I'm talking about.  I did use to work in IT!

Just curious if anyone else has discovered this annoying problem?

Re: Description formatting issues when revising advert on phone

Thank  you for your suggestion but it defeats the reason why I raised this as an issue in the first place.

If you have to stop and copy and paste the nicely formatted text description into another application on your phone (not that easy) then come back and revise your advert after ending or saving and then paste the words from an external application, you are still having to come out of the ebay app (on phones android or ios) to correct what was correct in the first place.  So effectively reformatting your description twice.

I take photos with my phone, probably like most people.  Not with my laptop.  I upload my photos from my phone, again probably like most people.  Once you have ended or saved the listing from the ebay app it  scrambles the text with formatting script.

ebay IT have acknowledged this as a bug. This is still an inconvenient bug with the ebay app that I would very much like ebay to fix.  It used to be ok, now it isn't.
