Sounds like you've opted into eBay's Simple Delivery.
Opt out as below and you'll be able to select the postal service of your choice.
When creating a new listing here's how to opt out:
Click on Custom Postage option, this is next to the simple delivery option on the listing on the right hand side, and it should allow you to then select your postage options.
The above is when using a PC / laptop sorry I don't use the app but imagine it must be in a similar place.

The Custom Postage Option is often hidden these days.
In postage setup, just above Package size, is "Switch to advanced Options", that is what you want. (That's where it is using Seller Hub, it may be elsewhere using other ways of listing, but you are looking for Advanced Options.)

While checking where Custom Postage Options is today, I noted a new option for Simple Delivery: Who pays. You can now select whether the buyer pays for postage or the seller.

I can only see simple delivery today - was working okay a couple of days ago and I could decide my own delivery option - why do ebay changes how the site operates without thinking of the sellers.

Any ideas how to customise your own postage today - dont want to use simple delivery where buyer selects and you get a label to use.

Are you using the ebay app or the website accessed through a laptop/desktop pc?

I've used sell similar today and custom postage came up ok

Just doing a test listing on the ebay website and down in the delivery section under the blurb about simple delivery it says 'Switch to advanced options', click on this, a box comes up - click on 'Switch to advanced options' again!
With 'Custom postage' selected - click on 'Add primary service' - then select the postal/courier service you want from the list - click 'save'. Click 'offer free postage' box if appropriate.
They've made it pretty long-winded to deselect simple delivery, of course because they make money on each postage label if you go along with simple delivery, their greed knows no bounds!

I have tried sell similar today and I can see the switch to advanced option but when I use sell it yourself when I want to use another ebayers listing to help speed up my listing then they only have the simple delivery. This was not so a few days ago.
Can you do a test listing using sell it yourself option from another ebayer listing please?
