Customer Service Has Just Imformed Me The Combine Postage Via Simply Delivery Has Now Been Solved

I have just had a long frustrating chat with a CS person who has informed the on going combined UKcombined postage problem has now been solved . Can anybody tell me if this correct or not .

I have had a problem with combining 12 winning auction from a international buyer where I have not been able send a combined invoice . There have told the only work around is to ask the buyer to pay full postage and then I refund the difference back to me . I was told this has only been a problem over the last 3 days !!!! 

All they kept pushing was for the buyer to use the GSP which we all know lines ebays pockets .

I've just come off the phone with CC who told me that combined shipping has been removed completely, becuase ebay had to pay out so many claims from buyers claiming that not all of their combined items were shipped in the same parcel.

What balderdash.

I mean there's no difference if I send the same 5 items in 5 separate parcels, the buyer could still claim 2 of the parcels were empty.

She said "Oh yeah".

And that ladies and gentlemen is that.

Ebay basically could not give two hoots about anything it seems anymore.

As usual, they have no clue what they're talking about. I've just tried adding two items from the same private seller (using Simple Delivery) to the basket... they were combined and reduced postage calculated automatically.
