Can't withdraw my funds. Why is Ebay not allowing me to withdraw my sales receipts?

I recently sold an item and Can't withdraw my funds. Why is Ebay not allowing me to withdraw my sales receipts?

The so called 'NEW ' process says there is a 'Withdraw' option in the sellers hub which we can opt for at any time to transmit funds to our bank accounts. . If there is, it is well hidden. i have spent over 2 hours trying every screen I can find and there is ABSOLUTELY NO WITHDRAW OPTION.  This suggests to me that Ebay are deliberately witholding funds.  Why ?

I plucked up the courage and "opted out of seller hub", and you click on payments, summary down the left hand side of screen, sign in, and the blue banner came up, clicked on the arrow, and the £0 seems to have disappeared and is now just a £ sign, put in amount, go to bottom of screen and click withdraw. But coming back to seller hub, I lost all my info again for a while.

It certainly is clear that this system works differently for different folks!

Just a matter to find the combination of browser and device, using Seller Hub/ Using My eBay Selling to find what works for you.

Boy,  not going to be easy finding one answer, as it seems there isn't one,  for others having this soon becoming Number One Issue on eBay !

I'm still having problems. Using Safari on iPad. Two weeks ago I had to delete all cache & cookies in order to access the withdraw button. Still having to do that! It's quite inconvenient as I have to log back in to all my usual sites. Surely this needs to be treated as urgent? 
I don't see why I should be encouraged to try different devices and different browsers and to continually delete cookies simply to withdraw my own funds!

my previously logged complaint has been marked as solved as I had succeeded in withdrawing funds, however the whole problem still remains as I will have to perform acrobatics in order to access a button!

I'm STILL unable to withdraw my funds!! I don't know how many times I've called CS now, they just fob me off with 'The Back Office' (American office) stating that they need to look at the documents I've uploaded, 

yesterday I had an email saying the problem was my utility bill I had uploaded, it was more that 90 days ago when I received it and that now I have to upload yet ANOTHER one!!!

so yesterday I uploaded my phone and broadband bill from August in PDF form, as I type now my funds are still on hold!!! What do they want.......my blood, DNA, my soul!!! JEEZ!!!! ARGHHH!!!!!

This is what they now have: my birth Cert, My Gov.issued photo ID for voting, marriage Cert. Water bill, phone & broadband bill.............all because not everyone has a passport or driving licence!! Some of us can't afford to go abroad or drive!!! Seriously frustrating!! 

I just feel like they are stringing me along for some reason, coming up with all these excuses not to give me my own damn money!

I also have nothing with a photo, no passport, only the old paper driving licence, ( not quite old enough for the photo one), hubby on the utility bills. You feel as though you don't exist. I couldn't even get my own money out of a building society, I had to get a letter from my doctor, had to have certain things in the letter!! Luckily my doctor has known me 35+ years!!

You have returned to selling after a long break so your initial payouts may be on a general 21 day hold.

Tracking showing delivery will speed up the process showing eBay that the real owner has returned to sell on this account as items have been delivered safely.

Have you also registered for eBay's Managed Payments?  If not,  this too will prolong payouts being available for withdrawal.

Just going through all of the comments and honestly, doing on your computer/ipad is a big no no! However, do it on your app on your phone and I withdrew in about a minute.

Do it on the app as the company have clearly built the product around an app as opposed to a computer.

Unfortunately some of us only have an iPad and can't/don't use the Glitchy/useless /impossible to read App!! So, thanks eBay!

REALLY?

I'll agree ipads and possibly other pads are problematic, but computers, as in PCs running Windows, seem to me to be the most reliable bet.

This forum seems to spend a fair amount of time helping people who are trying to do things on the app that work just fine on a PC.

Regarding problems with withdrawals ...

Seems to me there have been three distinct reasons:

Finger trouble (largely seems to have gone)

Registration trouble (documents not accepted and so on)

Ipad or other pad users. (Don't get me wrong. I'm not faulting Ipad or other pad users, it ought to work.)

Do we have anyone with current issues over withdrawla that does not fall into one of those camps?

I for one have never praised or advocated the use of the app, I  have never used it,  and won't at any time in the near future, far too limited and seems fraught with constant temporary glitches.

I use a laptop and Chrome, and experience few  issues, aside from the Friday morning maintenance glitch from time to time.  It took a couple of goes to navigate this new payment system, but it was my bad,  entering the amount into the wrong £0 area.

I do believe for peeps still facing issues it's not one answer fits all. It can be a device / browser issue, holds on payouts, incorrect registration with Managed Payments, ID verifying required,  all of this we're not privy to as we don't have acess to anyone's account.

It's down to try,  try again  different combinatons of the above and last resort to contact Customer Support early in the morn to capture Dublin.

Please, please don't think I'm belittling the efforts some are truly having over this issue and that nothing seems too work, but others have come back after days of trying to say they found their ' escape route' be it a missing document eBay required or a change of browser. 

It's there,  but admittedly not easy at first to find.

Still without my funds, the lastest 'NO' I have got from the 'back office' (USA) is my utility bill, I hope this will help others, I have no passport or driving licence (uploaded birth cert. photo ID voting letter, marriage cert. BT utility bill, Water utility bill) oh and make sure they are within 90 days or that will get denied too! 

the BT bill I uploaded was denied because........ it wasn't my FULL name!!! Mrs A Bcdefg (not my real name lol) but because my first name is only an initial they denied it!!! Can you believe that!!! 

So now I've had to contact BT to issue me another bill with my FULL name visable! This is beyond a joke now 😞

BT are posting it out to me, so more waiting!!

Hi all - thank you very much for various suggestions. Most of the suggestions assume that there is somethign wrong with my laptop / desktop /phone /app / browser / cashe, etc. Or that I input numbers in wrong places. I assure you that it is not the case - tried absolutely everything. Whether I am on the App or computer, the 'withdraw' button is greyed out (see schreenshots). I dont even get to move past it to the place where you insert the amount you wish to withdraw. I spent more than 3 hours already on the phone to eBay customer service in 5 or 6 calls. They just say 'give it 24 hours/48 hours' and it will work, and they will call me back to check. Obviously, nothing like this happened - it did not work, and they did not call back. I saw one suggestion that it is possible eBay delays transmitting the funds for 21 days - that would make sense in my case as it is for the first time I ever sold something on eBay (I was a buyer for a long time). But why would not they just say so if they have 'blocked' the funds for 21 days??!!! How can I elevate the matter within eBay?

I have just found a solution and added the EBay App to my phone and I can withdraw the money!

It shouldn’t have changed but I’m relieved to have finally found a solution.

FINALLY!!! I have been able to withdraw my funds after a month or trying!!! 

I went through so much trying to get my own money, it shouldn't be this hard!! I'm just glad it's all over with now, and it's left me with a huge distrust of EBay..............CS are not good at telling you exactly what you need to do in regards to documents you need to upload if you don't have a passport or driving licence.

If they had been better I would have been paid a long time ago! But finally I can now relax and not feel like I'm wading through mud constantly!! 😄
