I recently sold an item and Can't withdraw my funds. Why is Ebay not allowing me to withdraw my sales receipts?
The so called 'NEW ' process says there is a 'Withdraw' option in the sellers hub which we can opt for at any time to transmit funds to our bank accounts. . If there is, it is well hidden. i have spent over 2 hours trying every screen I can find and there is ABSOLUTELY NO WITHDRAW OPTION. This suggests to me that Ebay are deliberately witholding funds. Why ?

Ive been on EBay 21 years they have all my details. Everything worked now it doesn't. Im on a pc and it worked two weeks ago. I received my money within 24 hours . I have tried other other browsers and it doesn't work. I have been asked to make a video-how the hell do you do that?

Using a laptop / PC and Chrome on the page where you see £0.00 at the bottom and it's greyed out, scroll to the very top. There's a Big bolder printed £0.
In there add the amount you wish to withdraw. Make sure it does state that amount and not remain at £0.
Then, scroll to the very bottom and click on... Send £** Now.

I can't get to this page to state the amount that I want to withdraw, it's a fixed amount (what I sold the item for) I can't adjust it, no where to click, it looks like this:

I totally agree the system is Not straightforward, eBay Have not explained the process clearly, and there are many screens to get through clicking on the correct > , clicking on the correct £0 and not £0.00 at the bottom, to enter the amount for withdrawal.
I'm seeing that various devises and browsers are throwing up blocks too, whether this is a further step for eBay to resolve, I don't know, my tech knowledge reaches from switching this laptop on then off!
I too, had a panic when it was not allowing me to withdraw my few squid, and yes I too was seeing that greyed out area no > to go forward and withdraw, but when entering my amount into the big £0 at the top suddenly Send £** Now appeared for me at the very bottom , and withdraw was a success.
Is it easy to navigate around.... No
Does it work.... It will eventaully for you when finding that combination of device and browser that works for you.

It now works. I was directed to Google chrome but I used Edge instead. Once I followed the prompts there it was - WITHDRAW. I had to put the sum in but then I sent it and it worked.
Obviously Firefox doesn't work cas closed

clicking on the correct £0 and not £0.00 at the bottom, to enter the amount for withdrawal. << I CAN NOT click top or bottom of this white pop-up window, it's a FIXED amount that will not let you adjust anything.
I've tried my iphone/ipad/chrome/safari/edge all the same results 😞

Excellent! As I've tried to say amongst my many posts here it does seem to be a matter of using the correct device and browser too, which works for you.
It's obviously not ' One Size Fits All !'
Glad you managed to get your payout!

You got to wait for the payment to finish processing first. This can take over 12 to 16 hours. Yeah, don't know why it takes so long either. It's annoying.

it is working perfectly fine for me, not had a problem. Tried it on day 1 and money was in the bank the same day!

do you not know anyone who sells on e bay? Could you ask them to go over it with you to try to see what is happening?

patience of a saint! Big Kudos for your attempts to sort this out, maybe e bay should be paying you!

I think I mentioned this in another post , but I see you are a returning seller, after a long break so your inital payouts may be on that 21 day hold. eBay do this to ensure the sudden selling activity is not from a hacker. It's a security measure.
Prove the delivery with trackiing and the payout is released sooner.
I believe your payout may be in a hold or processing stage, and not fully available for you to withdraw, but I'm guessing, as I only have views on your feedback profile, to see this issue, full access to your account is needed, and for this, you need eBay Customer Services.
They can see, and will explain if any hold is on your payout.
The easiest and quickest way to contact Customer Services is through this link, for a Call Back .

Thank you for your patience in this matter, I don't know what's happening maybe your right but on my sellers hub there's no mention of my funds being on hold, it clearly states they are avaiable now but I'm still getting the greyed out button, I am going to phone them in the morning like you said, I've totally had enough now, thank you again!! 🙂

You're very welcome and please do come back and tell us, if Customer Services unravel the mystery why you're still unable to withdraw our money.
Good Luck ! 😊
