Just had a listing for retail packaged solid fuel Hexi blocks removed. Must have missed that one. Indeed if you search you cant find any, only the gel type.

Hexamine sales banned October 2023. This is UK law, nothing to do with Ebay. Just google hexamine ban.

Oh. Fairly recent then. I see a company making model steam engines claims it wiped them out? I'm surprised they spent £20,000 trying to find an alternative when they could have simply bought BCB Dragon Fuel pods?
Ah well. Maybe I can find a couple of preppers to sell the blocks to outside Asda?

Keep them, you might find them useful if we get any power cuts. 😁
Mamod blame the hexamine ban for their closure but bluntly they had done little or no development of their engines for decades, and they compare badly with European alternatives (IMHO). They seem to still be trading.

I would advise you not to use hexamine blocks in an enclosed space.

There is an story, maybe true, maybe not of a squaddie who tried to get pensioned off by deliberately inhaling the fumes...
