Splitting an item into 2 packages and how to specify this on the selling form.

I am drafting an item to sell on eBay, the issue is that the complete item is a mix of heavy and light fragile items and it would seem risky to pack them in one container.

I am prepared to pack into two packages but I cannot find a way to specify this using the Sales form...... or am I missing something?

I'd just state in the listing description that the lot will be sent in two packages.

You can either buy labels via eBay, see here for instructions on how to send multiple items:

Or buy postage online from a courier or Royal Mail or your local Post Office, whatever suits the size and weight of your packages.

As advised, put it in the listing description - there is no real reason why that detail would concern a potential bidder.

If you are looking for a courier, I would suggest Parcelforce.

They offer a consignment rate which means you can send 2 or 3 parcels to the same address for a reasonable rate.

You should check, but, as long as you package your fragile items correctly, they may be covered for compensation.

A lot of carriers don't offer any cover for fragile items broken in transit.

You are welcome.

Thank you for saying 'thanks' - not many people do  🙁

Hello,

The items i want to sell associated with this issue were in storage so I had to visit that to get an idea of weight and package sizes etc, which I now have done.

So I have a good idea of what I need to do but obviously, I cannot complete this until I get a purchaser, so I now have 1 further question:-

1. Does this multiple package sale work with the eBays Global Delivery option which I use?
