Buyer selection issue

Hi, a buyer has bought an item of mine from a listing that says 9.99 each item and shows 8 individual items. I've messaged and no response. Do I cancel the sale or send a random item?

Re: Buyer selection issue

Ah, just looked at what you sold, thought it was aftershave but it's sex toys.

You can't list those.

Sex toys and sex accessories can be listed in the Health & Beauty > Health Care > Sexual Wellness categories, and must follow these guidelines:

  • Sellers must be pre-approved. If you're a UK registered business seller on eBay and want to become a permitted seller, please submit your request at https://www.ebay.co.uk/slronb/restricted-categories/apply. We will reply to you within 3 weeks
  • Items must be new and in the original packaging
  • Listings must not offer international postage
  • Listings must not include images of nudity or sexual content

Re: Buyer selection issue

You can't list a bunch of different items and then say "Choose".That should be a multi variation listing.

You should either send all as offered or cancel the sale but buyer is within their rights to leave whatever feedback they wish (within reason obviously).

Re: Buyer selection issue

Hi, it's because they're all under the same heading, for example.....aftershave for sale X1

Then you pick from CK, Paco, Burberry etc.....ebay doesn't give me the option to list every different one like I see people doing with coins for example. So I'll have to list every single one? 😞

Yes.

Re: Buyer selection issue

You will have to cancel the sale which also means you will also receive a defect on your account.

The listing was against policy and also confusing.

Re: Buyer selection issue

Ahhh okay cheers. I tried before and they were blocked but I thought it was down to the wording and that's why I changed the category. I'll remove them. Thank you.
