Hello could someone please help me with what to do. I sent my PS4 pro with games 11 days ago. I personally upgraded the postage to special delivery at an extra£10 cost to me. I messaged buyer to tell him he responds with I don't trust royal mail they have damaged items before. This sounded alarm bells instantly but to late item was sent. Also told me he was going to put new heat paste in the PS4. So basically after 11 days i get a refund request that the item doesn't read game discs! Even though i sold it with 13 game discs which surely if it didn't read discs i would not include 13 discs. Basically i feel i am being scammed by possibly my PS4 being damaged by them or swapped for a damaged one. I have been a member for 23 years with over 1000 feedback 100%.. I have not refunded as I am not to sure what to do?. I did speak with eBay on the phone who said wait till i receive item back then refund! I am not happy with this what can i do. Can anyone help and thanks i advance for reading my post hopefully it makes some sense

Did you make a note or take a pic of the serial number?
Whilst that won't swop anyone potentially cannibalising it for parts, it will prove that it's not your PS4.

Make sure you supply a label and get the item back. Otherwise, Ebay may refund the buyer from your funds and tell them they can keep the item.
Do not refund until you get the PS4 back.
When you get it back, you do have various options so, if it has been damaged or is not the same item, come back to the forum promptly and ask for further advice,

hello, if it doesnt read discs then looks like something inside is damaged, im suspecting royalmail threw it around and caused insides to break, dont think that the buyer is a instant scammer, let him return test it yourself if it broken then you may well able file a claim with royalmail espeically if the box is dented or damaged in anyway, also why on earth did you use royalmail? should of used someone like ups or dhl express

Hi thanks for your reply eBay sent me this so do i still need to sort a label? is returning the item. In line with the relevant eBay policy, this return has been automatically approved and we've asked the buyer to send the item back.
After the buyer dispatches the item, we'll share the tracking information with you

Sounds as if they have supplied a label - keep an eye on the case and look out for the tracking being added which will show the item has been sent.

Once this is sorted i am going to close my 23 year old account as I am getting older lol and i just can't be doing with the stress. Once again thank you and sorry to be a pain ... Also thank you everyone for you help and answers it really is great to get all your help❤️
