Login into eBay on desktop mode and try and generate a report on sales to date this year and keep getting a 'we ran into a problem, try again later' message.
Been like this for a few weeks now.
(it was working fine).
Anyone else getting this issue?

Hi millcottage, thanks for your post.
Is this still happening to you? Just checking, as we've just ran a quick test there and the report you're trying to download seems to be working ok at the minute. If this is still happening to you, could you please try clearing the caches and cookies of your browser and try again? Also, we recommend using Google Chrome for a better experience.
If after trying the above, you're still experiencing the same issue, please let me know and I will be happy to take a further look for you.
Thank you,
Marco

Tried running report in Chrome and works ok.
I'm on a iPad Pro and it was working in Safari, but stopped working.
I will try clearing cache in safari also.
Anyway all working on now via Chrome.
Thanks for the reply.

Hi Marco
Your solution doesn't work for me ....
I'm try to get a sales report and getting an error: Error Downloading Report, try later, etc.
I've tried via Chrome and Edge and have cleared the caches beforehand.
This report worked perfectly well up until about 3 weeks ago.
Any ideas?

Hi malpart09, thanks for your reply.
You might be having a different issue, so that's probably why the above is not working for you. If you confirm what kind of report you are trying to download and what error you're getting, I will be happy to assist you further.
Thank you,
Marco

Hi Marco
I'm starting in the Seller Hub, selecting 'Sales'. In the Review of Sales page I'm going for a customerised data range 1st Sept - 22nd Sept. I then click on Generate Report. I get an onscreen report but then go dor download, and select the 'Listings Sales Report .....
I then get an Error report =
! Error downloading report

Lovely, thanks for that malpart09.
I tried replicating the issue from my end, and it is working ok. Could you please try clearing your caches and cookies or using a different browser and try again? If you get the same error, could you please take a screenshot and send it to me?
Thank you,
Marco

Hi goldenagecycles, thanks for your reply.
Could you please elaborate this further, so I can assist you? As in what report exactly are you trying to download and what's the error you are getting?
Thank you,
Marco

Two threads on this now, this one and here.
I can never run a custom report straight off, I have to refresh the page several times to get to the secure log in, enter those details and then report appears.
Using Safari.

Thanks Marco, I go into my 'seller hub', then 'performance', then 'Sales', then 'This Year', when I try to 'generate report', I get the response 'We ran into a problem. Please try again later.'. It works for one month or a quarter, but not for This Year. Thanks, Brian

Lovely, thanks for your reply goldenagecycles.
I was trying there, and I wasn't able to replicate the issue, and it was working fine. Can I suggest the same as above? Could you please try clearing your caches and cookies, or using a different browser? If you get the same error, please take a screenshot of it, and I'll be happy to take a further look for you.
Thank you,
Marco

Works for all reports except for Quarterly, This year and Last year.
On saffari and chrome you get encountered a problem try again later error.
On chrome I clear the browser caches and it works.

Hi millcottage, thanks for your input.
That's quite interesting so is it only happening with quaterly report and only with specific browsers? Do you have a screenshot of the error in question by any chance? I might be able to flag it to the tech team that way.
Very helpful, so thanks for that.

I would but you don't accept screen shots done on IOS (iPad Pro).
When I select attach a file and from photos I get this;
"The file type (.jpeg) is not supported. Valid file types are: jpg, gif."
So to clarify;
All reports work on Safari and Chrome except for Quarterly, This Year and Last Year that fail.
Clearing cache on Safari didn't fix the issue .
Clearing Cache on Chrome fixes it.
Thanks
