Unable to create a sales report with the message 'we ran into a problem, try again later'

Unable to create a sales report with the message 'we ran into a problem, try again later'.

 

Tried clearing cookies, cache, reseting browser etc with no fix. 

 

Browser Google Chrome.

 

Any helpful advice much appreciated.

Sometimes there can be intermittent issues that can happen at the time the report is requested. Is it still impacting you and how long have you been trying to run the report?

Thank You for your reply.  I have been trying to run the report for 4 days and the issue is still impacting me.

I'll log this with tech to have it looked at. I just need a few more details. Can you let me know what info you have selected in the drop down boxes for sales and compared to and then also provide a screen shot of the error message.

This is a recurring problem, I've reported it several times on this thread and in the weekly chat.

Sometimes it rectifies itself, others you have to refresh the page until you get to the secure authentication request page to log in and then it works.

I can see from previous reports alright that once I reported it to tech it had already rectified itself. I'll make them aware to see if it can be investigated further.

i have been having this same problem for months. It happens when I choose 'Custom' option to generate a sales report for exaple, for tax reporting purpose. Is there a solution?

@xxl_aber there is, it's annoying and ridiculous, but once you set your custom dates and get the 'we ran into a problem' message refresh the page at least twice and eventually you'll get a secure log in page, with the enter code procedure and then the report magically appears!

it still hasn't worked for several months. I checked in the CHROME OPERA EXPLORER browser

Try using Google Chrome browser in incognito mode. This worked for me.
