Hi, does anybody know why there is an additional fee above the buyer protection fee and the 4% on private listings. I am for example listing an item for £29 including postage. When I view my own listing, I see the price is £37.60 broken down to item price as £35.67 + buyer protection fee £1.93. And it does not say postage included. But it says ask seller about postage. It's driving me nuts, is there an added fee for buyers in UK during the weekend? I am not promoting the listing, so that can't be reason.

What's the listing number, or is it still in draft form?

not sure where to find the listing number, just forwarded the link for it to my what's app. See above. Also all my other listing selling prices have shot up today. Not sure if this is a weekend thing, same thing happened last weekend, when I was listing someting new. Buyer bought on Monday and the price she paid was the one just including the 4% and buyer protection fee, as intended.
I have just had a look at some other people's listings, which I browsed yesterday. The prices are up today, Saturday, from what they were yesterday. Looks like selling and buying during the weekend is now a big no no.

Glad that it's sorted itself out! There are so many technical issues and weird glitches going on at the moment.

It is now showing £5.88 postage by Yodel for me, although it does say postage included in your description.

Currently it's showing £30.88 or best offer for me (with freepost or collection).

From this and all the other issues I am reading about it would appear that the whole site has developed so many issues that it has gone into a tailspin! - and all of their own making.
I will just continue to keep my items on pause and see how the next week unfolds! - but I am not holding my breath for a fast fix!

Only reason I could imagine is if you accidentally have viewed it with your location listed as Jersey or the channel islands etc. Shows £30 odds for me now.

The tv ad says "its now free to sell on ebay"
one item i put up was up marked by £30, it was collection only due to being 15ft long!
I guess this is all down to ebay now taking full control including the posting. It would appear that they have joined up with Evri and cover all loses, yet seeing is believing.

It's all my listings, they all seem to have VAT added to them? My addresses have been checked, return address added. All in the addresses looks like it should be. Momentarily the prices showed correctly, after the return address was added, but now they are again inflated by 20%, when I view my listings. I am UK seller and viewing my listings as a UK buyer. Beats me, I did in March change my delivery address for a moment to an Irish address, as was contemplating on buying something while I was there. But that has been changed back to my UK address weeks ago. But I suspect the problem has something to do with this. I spent hours on Sunday chatting with several friendly ebay assistants, once I got rid of the robot. They were very helpful, but in the end none of them felt they had the expertise to solve this. I am now waiting for ebay to come back to me about this. Now that I know that my listings show correctly to other people, it's not such a huge deal. Just a bug. And I am not sure whether I see the correct prices in other people's listings, puts me off from buying at the moment. Thank you all for trying to help.

Just changed my primary delivery address to the address where I keep my horses, to see whether it makes any difference and also to see, if ebay would correct a typo in my home delivery address, if I remove it for a while. In my settings there is no typo, but annoyingly it has stayed on my ebay details whatever I have done. After I changed the primary delivery address, prices showed normally, without the 20% added. Beats me. My home adddress is correct in my settings, name, street, town, postcode and country is UK. For some reason it doesn't work 🤷♀️.
