Ok, so I'm new to selling on Ebay, and all the worries I had before taking the plunge seem to be coming true.
I listed a camera and selected UK-only shipping, I did not select international shipping. I had an offer from someone close to the listing price so I accepted (this was yesterday evening). So far they haven't paid, so I was curious and looked on the buyer profile. It says that they are in Australia? Why would it let people from outside the UK make an offer? They haven't paid yet. Is this because they are expecting me to contact them with an invoice or a way of shipping to them, I don't get it?
I feeling like 'simple delivery' is a bad idea now, because it seems to skip a lot of important details and lulls you into a false sense of security leading to mistakes that could bite me in the derrière.
Have I messed up? What do I do?
Thanks

If you only had UK postage on your listing they won't be able to pay without an invoice. You can issue an Unpaid Item cancellation after 4 complete days. More info:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/selling/getting-paid/resolving-unpaid-items-buyers?id=4137&st=
Or cancel right away via the dropdown arrow alongside the item on your orders page > Cancel order > Issue with buyer's delivery address.
Put their ID on your blocked bidder list:
http://offer.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?BidderBlockLogin
Block "buyers whose primary delivery address is in a location I don't post to" on here:
http://offer.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?BuyerBlockPreferences
Select "Apply above settings to active and future listings" at the bottom and then submit.
Also make sure you're opted out of eBay's Global Shipping here:
