problem with postage

I have both lots of postage stamps on eBay, usually more than 1 stamp. They have all been posted in 1 envelope 

with 1 charge. I have just tried to buy 2 stamps from a dealer at the same time and at the checkout there are 2 charges, with no way to combine the postage. At £15.00 ago this is taking the *bleep*.They will al fit into 1 envelope. Is this the way Ebay works now?

It seems for Private Sellers eBay's Simple Delivery has not set up Combined Postage yet.

Some Private Sellers are still selling & arranging their own postage with combined postage for items under £10 that fit into Letter sized envelopes.
