buyer left a feedback, confirmed delivery and I still have to wait 14 days for my money

Royal Mail did not update the tracking and delivery so I asked the buyer to leave a feedback. She did and confirmed receiving the item. I contacted the agent hoping for my funds released. The agent from India kept repeating like a parrot that as soon as Royal Mail confirms delivery I will have my funds released. So folks, a feedback from your buyer won't speed up anything. You are doomed to wait 14 days anyway it seems.

Yes, I had this. Buyer left positive feedback so obviously has received the item and it very happy with it. Ebay still not releasing my funds. I wish I could find out whether this is legal or not!

they apparently try to copy vin ted but it is a far cry from their competitor. If a buyer confirms delivery money is released. Yes, would be good to find out, whether that hold-up is illegal.

I have also posted an item last Saturday 8th February. The goods arrived, and I asked the buyer to leave feedback. I have spoken twice yesterday to email. The first in Germany had no item, and I told him that the item was never scanned, this was sent by 2nd class signed for. I was told by this guy I have to wait for 40 days, in fact its 30 days according to the 2nd woman at ebay.

I was told that feedback is meaningless does not prove they have the goods. So they are keeping our money its not their money, and I believe this is fraudulent.

I had delivered a parcel on Tuesday, the guy left me feedback, but as I dont have a tracking number that parcel may or not ever be paid out, I have a picture of the person holding the parcel and a picture of their home but thats not proof according to ebay, and they wont tell me when I will be paid or not.

The guy in Germany was so off, he put the phone down on me. He had no clue about living in the UK or when parcels are not scanned.

Same done to me. the Parcel posted on the 8th February was not scanned once during the postal from Royal Mail signed for.

I was told yesterday buyers leaving positive feedback, means nothing and does not prove they have the goods. As I also hand delivered a parcel as there was not tracking number, and I have proof of delivery, that may never been paid to me.

I have spoken to two at ebay, the first in Germany put the phone down, and the other spoke clearly but I have put in a complaint as she closed the initial complaint down with no follow up.

They are keeping our money now and if a parcel does not track or hand delivery you may not get paid at all.

I personally this this is fraud, keeping our money.

Whats going to happen at Christmas no parcels scanned will never be paid back.  Cannot use a tracking number as a ransom.

If there is anything good out of this is that it prompts me to explore other selling platforms so I rely less and less on sales here. Ebay is not the only selling space anymore. While they desperately try to keep afloat I want to carry on being paid what I delivered in the condition as described.

Same is  happening with me . I am now reluctant to sell on ebay again .Even tracked items with Evri have taken me ages to get funds .

Signed for is not a tracked service - it will only be scanned and signed for at the point of delivery.  If you want tracking throughout the postal system you will need to use Tracked 24, Tracked 48 or Special Delivery.

The sad fact is that having paid for a very expensive 'Signed For' service, sometimes either the postie doesn't actually scan and get a signature or the scan on delivery doesn't always work correctly.
