I ordered an item from ebay.co.uk a few weeks ago, I went on the tracking option and found out it is currently being held by an Italian postal company in Italy. The address I ordered to is a UK address so I don't understand why my parcel is in Italy. Please help

Not much to go on there @micmich_80 but reading between the lines I'd hazard a guess that the item you bought on ebay.co.uk was actually located in Italy, which would explain why it was currently being held by an Italian postal company.
If you check the original listing the location should provide a clue. Failing that a bit more info would help - any chance you could post the item number so I or someone else can look into it?

I think you need to open a "Not received" case before you run out of time. So check the estimated delivery date on the listing and if/when that has passed select "Report an item you didn't receive" on here:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/buying/returns-items-not-received-refunds-buyers/get-help-item-hasnt-arr...
and escalate it 3 complete working days later to get a refund.

Hi, thanks for replying, sure here's the order number:
06-13328-26338
And here's the tracking number:

Yes, it does happen to come from Italy but when I go on the tracking history it tells me that "the delivery is in transit through an International sorting centre" (la spedizione è in transito presso il Centro di lavorazione Internazionale) and that happened twice. Then it says that, on the 19th of September, the parcel is being delivered (la spedizione è in consegna). It's now running behind according to ebay and apparently the courier hasn't provided an updated delivery estimated date. I'm I worrying for no reason or do you think I may not receive it?

One day after the item's last estimated date for delivery just proceed this way:
Go right of the item purchased, and from More Actions select.... I Have Not Received My Item.
If you are not fully refunded within 3 days, you must escalate the case on day 4 or within 30 days from opening the case, and eBay will step in and force the refund.
Do not close the case early for any excuse or promise the seller may give, and do not forget to escalate.
Your money is safe if you follow the above, and claim within that specified period.

Honestly? I really don't know if you're worrying for no reason or whether or not you'll receive it @micmich_80
It does appear that the item is stuck in Italy, so I would recommend you follow the advice given by @**peaseblossom** and open an Item Not Received case after the estimated delivery date has passed, then follow the sequence given by @tressygirl .
