This is the eBay support page for the postage weights and prices for Simple Delivery:
Note the 2-10kg option at £5.21 which is great for me as it matches the Yodel price I paid for my 2-5kg parcels and improves on the prices I paid for 5-10kg parcels.
But the reality is that this still doesn’t appear in the real world! This is what I’m presented with in the app when selecting my parcel size & weight:
So I would have to choose Up to 15kg which is £7.19 - nearly £2 dearer than what eBay state in their support page. Come on eBay - you’ve implemented small parcels, now just get this final category sorted!

Did you ever get anywhere with this? I still don't see a 2-10Kg option, in fact nothing between 2Kg and 15Kg rates.
It must exist for some sellers, as I regularly see listings for 2Kg plus items with Simple Delivery with the £5.21 2-10Kg postage rate. Even if I click on 'Sell it yourself', I'm only offered the 15Kg rate at £10.80.
All the other rates are there, including the small parcel rates. Very odd!

Surely the buyer would then be underpaying if it was a 10Kg item? What would the consequences be?
I'm sure I read somewhere that there was a surcharge to pay for underdeclaring size/weight. Bear in mind that in the example I gave, the service recommended by Simple Delivery is 15Kg.

I mentioned this in the Weekly Chat today, pleased to say that marco@ebay has taken this issue up and is sending it on to the relevant department.
Fingers crossed!
