Is Ebay correcting the postage problem or are the Post Office ?

At present I have 5 items wrapped with YA tracking numbers on and

the Post Office won't acce

OK, most of my packages were scanned during the night and early morning, so I assume the rest will be scanned soon. But when I click on the tracking of the scanned packages and go to the Royal Mail tracking page, then click the red ‘Track your delivery’ button – nothing happens 🙈 It’s like the page doesn’t work. I’m not sure if it’s just my rubbish tablet or if it’s the same for everyone?

Hi All,

The issue with the track48 YA labels has been resolved.  The Royal Mail systems are now accepting the parcels so you should be able to send them through the Post Office. If you were unable to send your parcels and new labels were purchased the original labels can be voided.

For Simple Delivery, the buyer purchased labels will automatically be refunded to the buyer within 30-40 days. For seller paid labels a refund request can be submitted through the webform within 14 days from the order date.

For non Simple Delivery eBay labels, they can be voided within 14 days by going to postage labels on your account.

There will be automated protections in place for impacted sellers for late shipment and INR service metrics.

So 10 out of my 12 Saturday parcels have been scanned, but 2 still show the status ‘Label created – We’re expecting it’.

Do you think it’s worth going to my post office and asking what’s going on with those parcels? Or should I just wait? What would you do?

Sadly, that will make no difference, I find RM48 can take a working day or two before the next scan after the usual one of when been accepted at the post office....so you might want to check later today, as today is only the 2nd working day since dispatch.

2/3 off my Saturday parcels have been scanned this morning. I wouldn’t go to the post office as a very much doubt they’ll be able to help. Looks as though everything is falling back into place slowly

T48 is very slow. Annoyingly I just had a buyer file a “item not received” dispute, because although I posted item on Monday 28th July, it got to their sorting office on the 5th August - So that’s 6 working days later

The item has now been mysteriously returned to me (although I haven’t received it back).

The buyer claimed it had not arrived in time for a holiday, so I think they tried to deliver and he went online and had it returned to me.

At least the eBay notification says that as I used Simple Delivery, I don’t have to do anything.

I don’t know why the Buyer selected T48 and not T24 if it was so urgent.

i did read on other posts that T48 is particularly slow, well over the advertised 2 days delivery ( in my case over 6 days )

I’ve got just one left that still shows as “Label created – we’re expecting it.”

Does anyone else still have a parcel stuck like that?

Of course, I’ll wait a few more days and ask the buyer to be patient, but am I right in thinking that if the case is opened and the item still hasn’t arrived after those few days, I’ll have to resend the item at my own cost?

Because from what I understand, the only protection is that I won’t get a negative or neutral feedback?

All the post offices were now accepting YA codes as of yesterday morning.
