Private sellers are forced to use Simple Delivery even the items are less than £10

Starting this week, my private account can no longer choose Royal Mail or any custom delivery option when listing or revising items — only Simple Delivery is forced, even though all of my items are under 100 grams and worth less than £10. Anyone else having the same issue? Any solution?

FAQ says you get charged either way, no refunds.

Ebay tend to forget we are the customers, not their employees.

This refusal to reveal a buyer's address as a punishment for not using their mailing service seems pretty childish  *bleep*?

exactly. ebay are filth. i hope their business model implodes.  rinsing people with the protection fee and now milking the delivery.

Ebay are not as bad as sellers selling multiples of brand new cosmetic items on a private account and who continue to use ebay to sell even when they think they are 'filth'.

I'm sorry, I haven't read all the replies so maybe someone has already said this...I've just listed a card of buttons at £5.50 - the Custom Delivery option  appeared, so I could offer free postage using RM. Came to put the second card on - same price, but no Custom Delivery option. It's stupid. I'm not going to bother listing small items if the customer's going to have to pay nearly £3 in p&p. Presumably ebay don't want to be faffing about with small sales anymore? I'll just put on a fb group or similar instead.
