Label Interface to Evri

I am having issues with items sent 20th October 2025.  I have a drop off invoice from the Post Office which is the Evri collection point, but the tracking has not been updated to confirm the drop off.  I have spent hours chasing Ebay and received the message below today.  One of my buyers has received a request to return the parcel that "has not been sent"  and is  now confused and annpyed.  Is anyone else having the same problem?

I am guessing that the label interface from Ebay to Evri failed due to the AWS outage,  so labels arrived at Evri that could not be scanned.

Dear Seller,

We’re writing to let you know that we are currently experiencing a technical issue affecting Simple Delivery Evri Ship-to-Store labels.

You’re receiving this email because you recently generated one of these labels.

If you haven’t yet dropped off your parcel at an Evri drop-off location, please hold off for now and wait for further communication from eBay.
If you’ve already shipped your parcel, there’s no action required at this stage — we’ll update you shortly.
Our technical teams are working to resolve the issue, and we’ll notify all affected sellers as soon as it’s fixed.

Please do not attempt to ship using a different label. Because the buyer selected Ship-to-Store for this order, the carrier requires the correct label to ensure delivery and notify the buyer when their item is ready for collection.

Rest assured, your seller performance and metrics will not be affected by any delays caused by this issue. You won’t be penalised while we work to resolve it.

Kind regards,

The eBay Team

Label Interface to Evri

As the drop off was to Royal Mail, then the issue might lie with Royal Mail and is similar to theissues reported with Royal Mail last week

Label Interface to Evri

It is annoying that the is is ongoing, I have today had to refund a customer because they didn’t understand why I hadn’t shipped and blamed me, that’s 2 order and £15 sales lost and I have 7 sales to dispatch soon worth over £100 which looks like I will lose because I can’t dispatch, I can’t serve my customers so I’m probably going to have to refund them all and because of something out of my control. I’m seriously considering legal action for losses of sales because of all of this and I must say, the lack of communication and updates from eBay shows contempt for all who use them

Label Interface to Evri

Evri dumped the parcel on my doorstep in a supposed secure location, rather than delivering to my customer.  After many calls to Ebay to generate a new label to send by Royal Mail rather than Evri, I gave up and purchased the service direct from Royal Mail.   I contacted Ebay who provided a link to add a second tracking reference,  and it was safely delivered.  Tracking shows two despatches, both delivered, but I have today received an email to generate a new label.  I am glad that I did not wait and the item has already been delivered on time by taking the actions into my own hands:
