I used a different courier

I had a very large but light parcel to post a few days ago and ended up sending it via a far cheaper courier than the ones eBays Simple Delivery system suggested.  The buyer received his item today but now I am left with an Evri label I won't use and the tracking says I'm running late as I've not posted it yet since I didn't use Evri.

I've managed to change one bit on the system to say the courier I have sent it with and their tracking number but in other areas its still saying I should use the Evri label supplied.

I've held for 45 mins waiting to try to speak to someone from eBay today. Does anyone have any ideas how I can amend the order please?  I'm guessing payment won't be released until the Evri label is used? Thank you for any advice you can give me.

Firstly, click on the above link. That will take you straight to the page where you get eBay to call you back within 2 mins. You should never have used a different label but..... if the buyer paid for the label, then the unused label will be refunded to him/her in under 30 days.
If you paid for the label, you need to request a refund for an unused label.
As well as putting the new tracking number in the correct place, you also need to mark it as DISPATCHED.

If you don't use the simple delivery label and have selected buyer pays the unused label will be refunded to the buyer in around 30 days.

If you managed to add the updated tracking your payment should be released when delivery is confirmed but in anycase payment will be around 14 days from sale date

The cost of using your own carrier is paid by you
