Ebay will no longer give me the full address to send my items as they want to force me into their so called simple delivery option. I wish they would get rid of it.
1 - I want to go to the post office and ensure they receive their commissions for items so I don't want ebay options that deny local post offices these vital costs. They are struggling enough as it is.
2 - I will never scan a QR code because I don't use a smart phone as I am not a *bleep* who cannot live without a mobile phone
3 - I often need to weight items at the post office to ensure I am paying the right postage.
I implore Ebay to stop being so greedy and denying Post Offices their commissions and I urge all sellers to please think about supporting your local Post Offices as much as you can.
I really don't see why they should even accept a parcel with a pre-paid label as they are effectively working for nothing.

Totally agree

Sorry, but I haven't used a PO in years. I gave up on them when our main PO moved into Smiths. The queues were horrendous, the staff were ill informed (and given how some are refusing to accept SD items, it seems they still are) and I could never get stamps with a value over £1 (this was back in the day when it was nearly al postage stamps, and I was sending abroad).
Even if I had been using them, given the Horizon scandal, and the lives they ruined, I wouldn't give 1p to the PO now.
As a matter of interest, how do you plan to send your SD items now?

Just gave a shot to call CS, about how can i mark my item as despatched - because isn't there this button anymore.
Also, i have been charged 2.67£ for a Large Letter - but i use my own delivery method.
Sadly, i had to stop that listing, despite i had 157 sold items on it.
I can't pay 2.67£ for a Large Letter - nor any of the buyers will.
CS - didn't answer any of my questions, just kept repeating the same thing over and over sadly.
I believe, this is the end, of a lot of hard worked years on ebay.
First come this Buyer Protection fee, now that's changing, and also we are forced to use something, which we don't want to.
RIP eBay for Private Sellers.

@bestbuyexpress_uk I can't think of any private seller that would have 157 identical items for sale. Maybe you would be better with a business account - no BPF, and you can choose your own shipping method.

Shot himself in the foot there!

I put my irony, and sarcasm away - therefore no reply to your last message.
4.99£ with free delivery the subject.
some of it 5.99£
2.67£ viable - do you think?

It is obviously part of their contract with Royal Mail and they could be fined if they didn't accept them. They still receive a commission for items with a prepaid label, just not as much as they would it the postage was bought over the counter, so they aren't working for nothing. I do agree about supporting Post Offices as much as possible though.
