Hello everyone, got myself in a bit of a pickle with some EU inventory that I decided to list using my UK account.
Aside from getting hammered by VAT, I also can't seem to actually set a reasonable postage policy.
As the items are large, I was hoping to use the Freight option and then determine postage costs on a case by case basis. However I've found that the listings only show as deliverable to the UK (I've not set any exclusions for shipping - this must be because of my UK account). This makes them basically undiscoverable by users in the EU (the ones that might actually be interested).
Worse still, when I had some listings as collection only, it appears they were basically invisible, with collection from an EU location that eBay does not allow sales to (again, presumably due to my UK account).
Is there a way I can offer freight (ie tbd) shipping for such items? Or is the only practical solution to register a new EU account for these items? thanks
