Customer used two different accounts to buy the same thing twice.

As its a multi listing with free postage and its the same name and address on each of the accounts used, I would like to put them in the same box and buy one postage label.

 

So can the same tracking number be used on both accounts?

 

Or does it have to be a different tracking number for each account?

Post them separately as there would be no way of proving that you put both items in the box and the buyer could open and INR.

You could use the same tracking for both and you would be protected against an 'Item not received' dispute in each instance provided the tracking showed 'Delivered' or 'Delivery attempted' to the address provided by eBay on each order.

 

However, as they are on separate accounts they should strictly speaking be treated separately and only sent together with the permission of the buyer.  It could even be 2 different people with the same name and address.
