Interesting situation. Evri lost my parcel but, as eBay provided the label, they are reviewed as the carrier. the parcel is covered by Packlink ( I wondered who they were!) but you need a GB number to claim. I've never had an email with a GB number. So, good game. Insure parcels for a fee but make sure no one can ever claim!

Hi horsdac, thanks for your post.
If your transaction was a Simple Delivery transaction, your buyer just needs to file an item not received case, and we will then refund the buyer on your behalf. In this scenario, you wouldn't have to do anything, basically.
Now, if this wasn't a Simple Delivery transaction, you'd need to refund the buyer, and then you can put a claim through Evri directly if you bought the shipping label directly from them. If you bought the Evri label through eBay, then you can put the claim through here.
Thank you,
Marco

Hi Marco, yes, I get that, but customer services referred me to Packlink who require the "GB" number associated with the sale. I've never had a GB number, ever, sent to me. So a seller can never make a claim.

Thanks again Marco.
The link was really useful. I hadn't been able to find that before.
