Hi I send everything out as tracked and it says once tracking no. entered Ebay will pay you, but even after the items have been delivered the payment is still not being released. Think this is Ebays way of using our funds to fund them.

Under the new payment system once tracking shows delivery the payout is released into your eBay Balance 2 days after that delivery date.
If you are a new or returning seller, initial holds may be present, holding payouts up to 21 days.

I have 3 items delivered a week ago, with tracking provided that shows delivered, but payment has still not been released. The new system is an absolute shambles. £60+ just being held by eBay earning them interest for absolutely no reason.

Are your payouts subject to any other holds? For example, if you are a new or returning seller you payout can be held for 21 days.
If you have returned to selling after a bit of a break, have you registered for eBay's Managed Payments? If not, payouts can also be held until registration is completed and verified,

No I have had payments released from orders delivered after the ones I'm waiting for. No restrictions, not a new seller. Regularly sell and have 100% positive feedback. There is no reason for eBay to still be holding my funds.

Just had to phone customer services and they are bemused by this problem.
In the payments section on your account it should show the transactions as a list when you click on your pending balance and then each item says the date next to the word pending that payment will be made which is 14 days after the item sold. (when not sent with tracking).
But on my account each item says pending on each item but no date. When you click on the view button on the far right of each item in payments it says not yet dispatched and a purchase label button.
But if you click on the order id on each item, it shows it has been marked as dispatched, as I mark it dispatched the day after an item sells.
It is as if the ebay site is not telling the payment section that an item has been dispatched. It only came to light when a tracked 48 item that shows as delivered on the 12th on the tracking on ebay and should have been paid out on the 14th in payments still says pending and the view item at the end of the transaction says not dispatched and to buy a label. Yet the order ID shows all tracking and delivered on the 12th.
The CS guy was great but he and his manager could not force the payments system to recognise that the items were dispatched and also could not make the payment appear as available for the tracked item.
They have bumped it over to the IT department but he said they always take at least a week to respond.
So until then I wont get any money as even the items that will reach 14 days from dispatch still are marked on the payments system as not dispatched.
He was very sorry but its just not good enough. You should check your accounts to see if there is a date after pending on the transactions otherwise you are in the same boat as me. If it was not for the tracked item showing up this problem I would be assuming it just says pending as we are not 14 days from the start of all this payment change nonsense and would be assuming payments were going to happen from the 19th onwards.

My first payment since this started is due on 17th as delivered, do you mean that probably won't happen?

It should happen as marked delivered so must have had some sort of tracking.
Just have to wait and see at this point.

As it says a date for payment you are fine, its when it does not say a date and still says it need dispatching when its already dispatched that there is a problem.

I have now been paid for this, but to get the money released I had to contact the buyer asking them to leave feedback. They did so Immediately and the payment then showed in my available funds. This is a fair from ideal situation as even though I absolutely hope ally sales are satisfactory what happens when a buyer just CBA leaving feedback? Even if they are happy with the item. The new system stinks.

Alas if you read what I said in the first post you would see this is not a question of the buyer leaving feedback to get payment. The system in payments is not even showing the item has been dispatched. Yet on the eBay orders it's not only showing as dispatched but even delivered. It's not showing as dispatched on the payments for even the untracked items though it says dispatched on the eBay orders page.
CS guy and his manager were totally bemused by it too.

Not sure if this will allow me to even add anything here but I am still waiting for my payment for the order from 1st February and today is 4th March. In February, I had 4 order, eBay decided to hold funds for everything. Then in past 3/4 weeks, they have shown 2 of my orders are completed but... I still can't withdraw the funds. Then 2 items which were showing as pending at least had a release date next to them. That has suddenly disappeared today. And to make matters worse, eBay sent me a message today saying that I will not be able to sell on their platform anymore. They asked for invoices, I sent them those. They asked for delivery confirmations, I sent them those. They kept on saying they will sort my issue out within 3 working days but each time, after 3 days, there was a new message either demanding what I have already provided them, or they would have some other silly demands. As a seller who thought I would be making some extra money to pay bills, I know am in debt with my supplier and the supplier has clearly said that once you clear my funds, I no longer wish to work with you. I always thought eBay was a much more seller friendly platform compared to Amazon or any apps or websites but eBay has proven me very wrong. Their new change since 4th February has completely ruined their entire image of the perfect way to sell stuff online. I wasn't able to provide any tracking information since the items I sell are delivered by the supplier on his own vans. But eBay wanted confirmations from customers that their items are with them, I have all 4 confirmations and still this has turned out to be nothing less than a nightmare. I guess, now my only aim is to get those funds released somehow so I can pay the supplier and end this story for good as I do not have the mental strength in me to call eBay, spend hours talking to them, being transferred from department to department. Then they start sending messages, I respond to them, I send them anything they ask for. And in the end, it is all nothing but a waste of time and a source of unnecessary stress. I just wish eBay could become what it once was...

Please contact eBay again for a call back so you can discuss the situation, do not let this slide or you could risk losing all your funds. eBay need to clarify why your funds are still on hold, it may be because you are new to selling, and as you state " supplier" etc this may have been a start of a new business venture? If so, you would need to register as a business seller and not on a private account to continue. Please do not close your account or upgrade to business until you have discussed and received your funds for all your completed sales.... Please also research eBay policies for Business seller accounts and if you haven't already HMRC guidelines to selling goods online.

Have eBay explained/justified why we now have a 2 day payment delay after delivery is confirmed?
I sent an item using Special Delivery so it arrived next day and eBay order tracking has updated to confirm this. So why is payment withheld for a further 2 days?
It can't be for buyer protection as there is a separate fee for that.
