Posted item using ebay simple delivery via Evri. tracking said delayed, now stating on way back to me. Customer is asking for a refund

Wait to get it back then cancel/refund the transaction.    If it doesn't get back to you ask the buyer to open a "not received" case on ebay.   With Simple Delivery ebay issue the refund themselves for loss or damage in transit and you keep the payment.
