packages assumed lost

Guys,

I posted 5 packages last Monday, 30th June. 48 hour tracked. The tracking hasn't changed since, just says "accepted at parcelshop". I won't receive payment for these until the 14th July. My question is, if I refund the buyers today, will I still get my payments on the 14th? I realize I will have lost the items, but do not want to lose the cash either. It's around £100.

Any help would be appreciated.

Re: packages assumed lost

I wouldn't voluntarily refund, if you are making refunds then the buyer should open a case of item not received.

Also how were the items sent, if the labels were provided by ebay eg were simple delivery items and had market place seller on them, then it is ebay who refund not you. Again the buyer needs to open a case so eBay can deal with it.

If you provided the labels off your own back then you would refund, once asked via a INR.

It may well have been that the items have been miss sorted by Royal Mail hence the delay etc.

Re: packages assumed lost

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I did indeed use the ebay labels. I'm quite new to selling and this was my first issue. The items have all been delivered now, and none of the sellers have offered to return their refunds!
