I have two particular items in my saved searches. I was notified today at 10:43 by email of a listing of one of them. Unfortunately, when I contacted the seller he had already sold it YESTERDAY! What's going on?!!

Saved searches are only sent once a day,
So if someone bought item soon after it was listed, you are too late.

If item is buy it now, it can sell anytime.
If auction, then usually it runs to the end.
