Hello,I recently re-started selling on ebay after quite a few years and noticed there has been a lot of changes. I didnt realise but I opted for Evri postage thinking I had opted for RM. I couldnt use the Evri label as there are no pick up points near me. So I sent the item by RM and it has been delivered. So I am wondering what happens to that unused Evri postage label ? As I had to pay separately for the RM postage,is there any way I can get refunded for the Evri label ? Any help appreciated.

You wont get a refund for the Evri label as the buyer has paid for it not you.

When a seller doesn't use a  Simple Delivery label any alternative postage is at their expense, the buyer may be refunded the label cost by eBay if they see it hasn't been used.

Thankyou for your help. Can I just ask for one more advice ( in order I dont make same mistake again when listing). I cant use Evri as they dont have collection points on the Isle of Wight so I would like to use Royal Mail  Tracked 48 for future listings. As  ebay have introdued Simple Postage now,can you tell me how I can pre-set my listings so it generates a RM Tracked 48 label/QR code when the item is sold. Thanks in advance..

Hi you can opt out of using Evri here https://www.ebay.co.uk/ship/prf/simpledelivery and only have Royal Mail selected
