Re: courier preference

Hi @phiofla0 ,

Thank you for your post.

In certain cases, if your preferred carrier can't accept your item, eBay will provide you with a label for a carrier you've opted out of in your settings. For example, if your parcel exceeds your preferred carrier's size or weight limits, we may send your item with an alternative carrier.

Thank you,

Kat

I am currently out of the office and will return on the12th of August. Please expect a delay in my reply

Re: courier preference

In addition Couriers do not  provide a Full service for all parts of the UK, at one price, so if your buyer lives in a remote part of the UK can prove more expensive than ebay’s estimate.

Re: courier preference

Hi Kat

thank you for you reply

my preferred courier is EVRI/everything on my listings says Evri  however ebay only ever gives me Royal Mail labels

what I'm trying to find out is have I neglected to do something in my listings.

I wanted Evri because some of my items are over 61 cms (the maximum you can specify in package size/medium parcel)

the post office will not accept the package because it is too long for a Royal Mail medium parcel

Re: courier preference

There is currently a technical issue , and Custom Postage is just not showing for oversize items such as yours,  which should be exempt from Simple Delivery.

There is a workaround.

From the link below Go To Solution and follow  the advice in Rick's answer to list your item.
