Yodel keep delivering to unsafe areas and ultimately I don’t get the item which means I’m out of pocket. As far as eBay is concerned tracking shows delivered & that’s the end of it.
I now have to ask the Seller which deliverer they use before ordering, if it’s Yodel then I’ll go elsewhere even if more expensive.
It would be helpful if sellers displayed their deliverer in their article. Evri, DPD, & Royal Mail are spot on

Your issue is with local Yodel driver,
try putting a note on your door with safe place to leave items.

Sellers do inform buyers of the delivery service they are using.
Seek out on their listings >> Postage >> See details.

Ebays new buyer protection changes being rolled out gradually on 4th/6th feb means if you buy from private sellers on ebay you will be able to choose what postal service you want which may help you avoid yodel. The best place to buy and sell | eBay.co.uk

Not sure if that information then is not available on all devices, for example perhaps not showing on the app which I do not use, but I'm on a laptop using Chrome, and any item I see for sale, is showing the seller's chosen, delivery service , be it RM, Evri or other , and the price a buyer is expected to pay for that service.
We are told that before the end of March when Simple Delivery will be mandatory for Private sellers, buyers will be able to select their preferred delivery service. I believe at present it stands between Royal Mail and Evri.

Even RM will leave parcels in unsafe place.
It is an issue with all carriers.
