What's going on with Royal Mail

I have 8 items I am waiting fo - 10 days and counting. Royal Mail seem to be delivering everything every 2 weeks. It's highly improbable  all these sellers are slow to send. Yodel (pah) and Evri have all delivered well before these RM parcels should have arrived. It's got to the stage now where I dread buying anything that is using RM.

This must be an area issue.  I'm in East Sussex,  and thankfully our post is running smoothly.

Can you try and catch your postman in the morning ask him if there is any local problems that they are aware of?

Is it your regular postie ?  Or somebody new ?

My usual postie has gone on maternity leave I think. Definitely short staffed. I've received some parcels - delivered by van, but non-tracked still waiting. I did ask the van driver but he was non-comittal. Hope they get more staff soon.

Must be that your area us affected, possibly others, but a friend who uses tracked 48 seems to have them delivered next day.
