Weird buyer messaging me with false accusations. Feedback extortion. Threatening negative feedback

10 Dec. Buyer -  *****shoes (33) (I've left out his full ID) orders Set of 8 Retro Coca Cola Fridge Magnets

Buyer attached this note -''We have purchased some fridge magnets from you on you eBay store.
We need them magnets as we use a lot So we will buy again Please can you leave some good feedback on our new eBay store and we will in response leave a good five star review feedback on you eBay store.''

13 Dec. Buyer messages me ''You goods have not yet come and when the do come I don’t want them I very upset you have be very rude and unfair and unkind and unreasonable I find you very offended You have not left me any feedback I don’t like buying of seller who are like this''

Item delivered.

Buyer sends another message ''I wish to return the goods and leave bad feedback due to you rude behaviour''

Buyer opens a return. Reason :Missing parts or pieces Comments: Buyers is not responding to my messages

I have not left the buyer any feedback. I have NOT sent the buyer any messages. I have NOT replied to any messages.

What the ???? My funds are now on hold, I have to wait 15 business days for the order to be returned and I have negative feedback to look forward to as well!

Wait and see what happens.

If they leave bad feedback then you can try and get it removed.

No guarantee that you would but you could try.

If they do leave feedback then there is a chance if they say something that is not allowed

Thank you for replying. You were the only one. Your link was helpful.

I'm surprised, however,  not one person thought it helpful to comment and suggest that I should report the buyer (?)

Anyway, that is what I did. 

It must have had an effect as today I noticed all the buyers probable fake Gucci shoes that they were selling no longer exist on their store.

What else ebay chose to do with the buyer I will obviously never know.

I now am waiting for my return and will deal with the threatened negative feedback, if the buyer is still allowed to do so that is.

Just as an update....

The buyer sent another message on the 18th - ''I will cancel the return is you leave me feedback and I will leave you good feedback''

I called eBay customer services again.

A few hours later his account was suspended. Return closed.

My funds for some reason are still on hold but was told it could take 48hrs to be released.

I wonder how many people he did this to that didn't report him?

A pity eBay removed leaving negative feedback for buyers.

Not that it matters anymore in my case as he has been kicked off but in general.

I have seen positive feedback left for other buyers in the past but with a negative comment left as a warning to others.

This seems very wrong to me.
