Hi, I have just moved address, & updated eBay with a new address, but I have been asked to verify account with ID before June 8.

I have uploaded front and rear images of my driving licence, but I wondered if any of you know how long this takes to verify?

My Driving licence is my old address, so I have to update this too.

Do you have the correct address on your driving licence now,   as you say you ' have to update this too' ?

If not,  then photographing the old address is not sufficient, the new address on your updated licence is the one you need to photograph, and it can take a few days to verify.

I would say if a week passes and you still cannot access your selling account contact eBay Customer Services.

I recommend contacting CS first thing in the morning as there's more chance of Dublin answering.

As an aside,  do not dally in updating that driving licence, as there is a fine up to £1,000 for not doing so !

Thank you so much, & yes, I have photographed my licence with the old address, so I will try and phone eBay now & ask what to do.

Think they will just tell you to get your driving licence updated with the correct address asap and to photograph and send those new details into the place where you are asked for verification details.

Thanks, & yes. I received a call back and will most likely receive an email & alert banner on eBay pages to upload new verification documents. Thanks again.
