Unable to purchase due to postage restrictions by seller

I keep getting this message , however I have not changed any settings ?

'The seller does not ship to your location '

Its not happening on every item but probably 80% , I am in the south of England , one seller was only 50 miles away.

I have checked with sellers they say they have listed items normally.

Can anyone help ? I have checked and re checked all my settings

The only reason that I can think of assuming you live on the Mainland, is that sellers can block buyers with 2 or more unpaid strikes. If this does not apply, then it could be down to Couriers charges being higher for some reason. I know at one time Couriers charged extra for Isle of Wight and the Post Code affected some areas of the South Coast.
