Unable to contact seller

I placed order but didn’t receive correct quantity (only received 10 instead of 20). Notified seller as per process. They acknowledged they had only sent half and said they had now sent remainder and would send tracking and could I close so EBay didn’t automatically refund. So in good faith I did. No new tracking number received and not responding to messages - all through eBay and provable. Sellers contact details also incorrect. Can’t reopen dispute and can’t get hold of EBay. What can I do to either get goods or refund as currently out of pocket by c £20!

You open case and if not satisfied with seller’s response ESCALATE it to ebay to deal with.

 

Once closed ebay are no longer interested, and you only get one case. Seller took advantage of you to avoid sending correct number. All you can do now is see if your payment provider can help, but you must always follow ebay’s instructions once a case has been opened.

me too! Will never do this again. My card provider is looking into this and says I should have claim under section75 of consumer credit act. They are hoping to reimburse me once I send copies of all messages. X
