Simple Delivery

So it is no longer possible to opt out of Simple Delivery, sellers are forced to use either Royal Mail or Evri.

Both of these options are more expensive and not convenient for me to drop off parcels.

So Ebay is cashing in again on honest small sellers to increase their already ridiculosly high profits with BP fees and now postage fees.

The postage system was quite simple enough, why change it? oh of course just to earn more from people.

And as for the Buyers fees, this just makes buyers reluctant to bid and then offer less as they dont want to pay it, so the seller gets less.

So unfair for both buyers and sellers!!

After being an independant small  Ebayer seller for over 20 years it is now the least user friendly it has ever been in my opinion. Totally about making more profits for Ebay.

At this time, I think it would be far more responsible for Ebay to concentrate ongiving incentives to help their users to recycle and reuse, rather than putting them off just for more profits!

Re: Simple Delivery

I appreciate what you are saying with the restrictions but Both of these options are more expensive and not convenient for me to drop off parcels. - They are the actual prices not inflated, of course its not taking into consideration package materials and travel costs which can be costly now they have removed the option for RM to collect.

The postage system was quite simple enough, why change it?  - My honest opinion is that many sellers were abusing this and putting lower prices then inflating the postage but it also makes all orders trackable, so with so many ppl also claiming "items not received" its giving more protection to the sellers.

but as you have 89 items for sale you may want to consider converting to a business account, as the SD doesnt apply on business accounts and you would have far more control on what you want to charge etc
