I bought a used nintendo switch game - super smash bros cartidge and case around a month and a bit ago and was estimated to come in a week.
It hasnt came in over a month and I haven't really any options on the ebay app and page since the seller has a deleted user and there is no tracking on the package.
I've essentially been stranded without the game and not sure if it will come while not being able to cancel or even see it in person.
I'll probably try and contact ebay support ling if they have one or the email service with this problem to see if I can get the money back and transaction cancelled but if there are any suggestions or solutions from previous cases similar to this, It would be really apreciated if shared.
If any extra context is needed please dont hesitate to ask ( I'll try and get back to you within a day or two)
Thanks,
Ebay Shopper

You need to check the email you got when you paid.
Ebay only allow you 30 days from the latest estimated date of delivery to open a case stating you have not got your item.
It seems that you may already be out of time to do that if you bought the item over a month ago, and, to be honest, if the seller hasn't sent your game by now, they are unlikely to respond in a positive way to a message; you just seem to have given them more time to keep you waiting.
If they don't respond over the weekend, go to your payment provider to start a chargeback.
If anything like this happens again, don't wait and risk losing your money - open an item not received case promptly.

Update: I just used the AI chatbot and it allowed me to issue a message which prompts them to send the item or send the money back with a certain time period

- I dont know if the seller can respond becuase their account is deleted and cannot be messahed or viewed
- the item had no tracking I think this may be a part of why...
.. I was able to get a refund through buyer protection.
I will keep this in mind in future though.
Thanks a lot for the advice, I will keep it in mind for future cases,
much obliged.

Be aware too, once eBay notify you the refund is made, being processed, then it's not instantly returned to you, and does go back to original payment source.
If you paid with PayPal it goes back to your PayPal account fairly swiftly.
Paying with a debit / bank card? Can take up to 12 days to appear back in your bank account.
Credit card payment? This takes the longest, up to 30 days to appear back in the card account used.
