Hello any help or advice on this issue.
I had a Olympic 2012 Album 30 xCoin and 30xStamp in pristine condition for sale for £600 + 10.35 postage. I placed a offer of what I thought was £590 + £10.35 to which I received a sale. However it was not till I had dispatched the item and waited for money to be deposited into my account. It was a week later I question why the money had not gone into my account. I then was told by EBAY that the offer I had made was for £10 + £10.35. Ebay refunded the £20.35 back to the buyer and the item was reinstated as for sale again at original price. I amended the item to include offers so buyer could buy at £590 + £10.35 or return item.
I have had zero communication fro buyer to return or buy at the item.
because I have received zero communication from buyer I reported this to EBAY and there outcome is the buyer has not contravened any Ebay policies and has closed the case
1. I now have a item for sale that I do not have
2. The money I was paid £20.35 has been refund back to buyer
So as a seller I have received no money for this item and had to pay the postage as well.
Tell me does EBAY protect the SELLER (ME) as well as the Buyer ????
