Royal Mail 2 Class postage - not tracked

I sold an item for the first time with the new rules. I sent it by Royal Mail 2nd class as it was only a small, light item. I have my receipt of postage but obviously Royal mail doesn’t scan post that they put through a letter box so the item hasn’t moved to delivered  and I haven’t been paid for it. What happens now?

Without tracking your money will be released after 14 days.

With no tracking your payout will be held for 14 days.

From the end of February low value items will not require tracking to release a payout sooner , feedback left will have that effect.
