Refunding buyer who won’t engage.

Strange one - eBay reposted an item over a couple of months and then it sold . To be honest I forgot about the listing and the item ( with postage) was less than £5. By the time it sold I had lost it ( possibly binned) and I have contacted buyer to ask for bank details to refund . Not a dicky bird in terms of response - any ideas what to do ?
if they don’t respond I thought of donating the money to a charity but how long should I give the buyer to respond ?

Refunding buyer who won’t engage.

You should still be able to refund the buyer if you are within 90 days of sale.

Click on the item in Orders >>  Awaiting postage,  and click item order details top left. Far right from More Actions drop down menu you will see Refund Item

Make the refund through there,  add any message,  or send a message separately to explain what has happened.

Cancel the transaction as out of stock and a refund will be made automatically.

You cannot donate what is not yours [the money].
